Our mission at Kenrick is to provide the most professional, complete and efficient service through our select network of insurance agents and to our select group of clients. We pride ourselves on doing the best job possible for those that we serve. We feel that our 98% client retention ration proves our commitment.
The underwriting department at Kenrick reviews and analyzes all of the municipalities that are insured under the programs that Kenrick administers. Working closely with our field agents, the underwriting department analyzes a client or potential client's size, exposures, loss history, internal policies, coverage requirements and determines the premium that is required to insure the client.
Acting as the front line, the underwriting department has a high degree of responsibility to choose quality clients, either in terms of prior loss history or in terms of the client's willingness and desire to correct loss problems they have had in the past. The long term viability of the programs that Kenrick administers depend on a good quality, loyal client base.
Midwest Claims Service is responsible for discharging the legal obligation of its clients through the expeditious payment of covered claims. In the execution of this responsibility, Midwest must endeavor to provide clients, policy holders and agents with service of the highest caliber. Skillful and professional claims handling is essential to the programs and clients serviced by Midwest Claims.
Kenrick Risk Control Services provides customized loss control to Cities, Counties, Towns, Villages, Townships and other Municipal Governments. We work closely with many different departments within these municipal entities including Police, Fire, Parks & Recreation, Public Works and Personnel Departments. Our main objective is to assist these Municipalities in reducing and/or transferring potential liability exposures.
We also provide customized Risk Control Services to the Fairs and Festivals in the various states.
There are many potential exposures which Public Officials and Fair/Festival Board members must contend with. To help our members deal with these exposures several types of risk control services are offered. These include risk control profiles, recommendations for improvement, special event, contract language reviews, resource material, technical assistance, risk control workshops, conferences and meetings.
